Below is a link to a Evaluation Rubric for a presentation in the Mitosis and Meiosis Lesson Plan that was written in ED 605. Students were split into groups of three or four and asked to make a presentation on either Mitosis or Meiosis using Prezi, PowerPoint, Glogster, etc.

I enjoy how you separated the percentages in your rubric to distinguish the importance of each area for the students. The following suggestions can occur:
ReplyDelete1. Instead of using the term "Mechanics" you could switch this to "Spelling and Punctuation" to help the students understand what is being analyzed. Students sometimes need to have simplified terminology in order to understand the information.
2. Remember to use capitalized letters when making bullet points. There are some areas that have all lowered case letters so it takes away from the professionalism of the rubrics.
Overall your rubric is very well pulled together, but some modifications can turn this rubric into a great form of assessment!
